WORKSHOPS

Making as a practice
of attention.

A manual practice for anchoring attention.
Learn the knot. Build your talisman.

TWO WAYS OF ENTERING THE PRACTICE

THE ANCHOR

4 HOURS · INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP

This workshop is an introduction to the manual mechanics of focus.
You will learn the foundations of micro-macramé through tension, rhythm and repetition, using the physical structure of the knot
as a way of grounding attention.
No prior experience is required. You will select a gemstone as a focal point and spend four hours building a talisman around it.

EXTENDED FORMAT

6–8 HOURS · FACILITATED WORKSHOP

A longer format built around the same manual practice, with more space before, during and after the making itself.
The extended workshop includes guided orientation, reflection and group process alongside a slower period of talisman construction.

IN DEVELOPMENT

THE DIFFERENCE

The distinction is not
technical difficulty.

The work is simple, but exacting: maintain tension, follow the structure, return when attention wanders.
In micro-macramé, distraction becomes visible in the material. Tension changes. Structure is lost. The hands show what the mind is doing.
The Anchor gives this practice enough room to be learned without overload. The extended format makes more space around the same mechanism for reflection, group process and deeper facilitation.

To tie a knot with sustained focus is a refusal to be scattered.

THE SETTING

Small groups. Real materials.
A focused space.

No prior experience is required.
You are guided through the technique step by step.
Cord, tools and a carefully selected gemstone are provided, and each participant leaves with a finished talisman.
The workshops are intentionally kept small, allowing enough space for individual guidance and concentrated work.

WHY I FACILITATE

For years, I tied knots in solitude.

The talismans found their people, but I realized that the primary transformation occurs in the act
of making, not in the act of owning.

I teach because the real shift happens when you become the technician of your own focus. When you tie a knot with sustained intent, you are training your consciousness to stay in the room.
You are learning, through the friction of the thread, that you possess the agency to shape the next moment.

I provide the foundational mechanics so you can experience the refusal of distraction firsthand.
I teach the knot as a practice in sovereignty, moving you from the role of a consumer
to the role of a maker who can anchor their own life.
